You can reach Simmern by car, bus and airplane:
With the bus from Koblenz, Boppard or Bingen, hop off at "Rathaus" or "Bahnhof". The Airport Hahn is 20 minutes away and the Airport Frankfurt 60. Shuttlebusses run between those airports.
